Al-Meezan Vacancy



16 HOURS PER WEEK, (Flexible, over 4 days) - £9 per hour


Al-Meezan is an organisation dedicated to serving the community.  We pride ourselves in offering a quality Islamic education program focusing on women and the young.


As Al-Meezan continues to develop, we are constantly striving to improve our systems, towards improved administration and greater efficiency. Due to change of circumstances for the present job holder a current vacancy has arisen for the position of Administration Officer.


The main responsibilities of the job will include the following:


  • Respond to email and telephone queries

  • Organise a filing system for important and confidential documents

  • Keep stock of supplies and place order when necessary

  • Maintain the premises and arrange necessary repairs

  • Implement the decisions made by the board of Al-Meezan

  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary

  • Any other relevant duties


Suitable individuals are invited to apply, who


  • Must be educated to degree level

  • Are computer literate (Microsoft Office, Word, Publisher etc.)

  • Have an excellent standard of both written and spoken English

  • Have strong organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude

  • Be able to work with a flexible and positive attitude as part of our overall team

  • Be pro-active in ensuring that best practice is followed throughout all of Al-Meezan
