AL-MEEZAN ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
16 HOURS PER WEEK, (Flexible, over 4 days) - £9 per hour

Al-Meezan is an organisation dedicated to serving the community. We pride ourselves in offering a quality Islamic education program focusing on women and the young.
As Al-Meezan continues to develop, we are constantly striving to improve our systems, towards improved administration and greater efficiency. Due to change of circumstances for the present job holder a current vacancy has arisen for the position of Administration Officer.
The main responsibilities of the job will include the following:

Respond to email and telephone queries

Organise a filing system for important and confidential documents

Keep stock of supplies and place order when necessary
-
Maintain the premises and arrange necessary repairs
-
Implement the decisions made by the board of Al-Meezan

Assist colleagues whenever necessary
-
Any other relevant duties
Suitable individuals are invited to apply, who

Must be educated to degree level

Are computer literate (Microsoft Office, Word, Publisher etc.)

Have an excellent standard of both written and spoken English

Have strong organisation skills with a problem-solving attitude

Be able to work with a flexible and positive attitude as part of our overall team

Be pro-active in ensuring that best practice is followed throughout all of Al-Meezan
